Brigid is both a writer and an artist. Her first novel, The City of Lists, a dystopia based on the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, was published in March 2009 by Crocus Books at Commonword after winning their novel writers’ competition in 2006. As an artist, Brigid studied at Sunderland and Sheffield Universities obtaining a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. As an author she trained at Lancaster University on their MA in Creative Writing. She is currently investigating the use of spirographs in her artwork and exhibiting her pictures in the North of England. She is also working on her second novel.
